Updated HMD Prop_DisplayFrequency_Float to 59.999996 Initializing generic graphics device resources. Is there anything else you think could affect this automatic fullscreen at startup? Is this maybe something recently added to openvr (maybe by mistake even)? In fullscreen it already shows steamvr room just fine. ![]() what is an example of correct settings? I assume in windowed mode one would be able to set it to just about anything? For now i'm not even trying to use the HMD anymore, i just want to see if i can get a windowed compositor on the main display and have it display anything but red. You are saying it's red because of size/coordinates are not correct. These end up being the same as if hardcode them so for testing i'm just hardcoding. I have also tried to use EnumDisplayMonitors to find the correct offsets. If i alttab however i can clearly see the desired screen size and position is used (the headset window is placed where it should) but it's still in red. I have tried numerous hardcoded sizes which all yield the same result - fullscreen on primary display. The Prop_DisplayDebugMode_Bool is set to false. My driver isn't called "null" nor "sample". Is there maybe some hardcoded behavior differences per driver name or perhaps model/serial number? I have also tried setting these booleans to all possible combinations but it does not seem to help at all in my case.Īll i want is to have headset window on the secondary display windowed or fullscreen i don't mind. This is all straight from the sample driver. But setting it to true does not help the situation either.Īlso IsDisplayOnDesktop() returns true and IsDisplayRealDisplay() returns false in my Displa圜omponent. Prop_IsOnDesktop_Bool is set to false as per sample driver to avoid the warning. ![]() if moved to secondary display (stays red color) i can left click on headset window to focus it which gets rid of red but also instantly moves it to main display and goes fullscreen.can't move headset window to the secondary display without it being red. ![]() at startup headset window becomes fullscreen automatically and always on main display.headset window is always red while not in fullscreen. Thanks a lot for answering! I'm already doing that and while in windowed mode (not fullscreen) it works just fine.
